HAMILTON, Laura Helen (nee Skilnick) - Peacefully, in the early hours of Saturday, August 22, 2009, Laura lost her second battle with cancer at the age of 45. She leaves behind her most beloved treasures, her husband Scott, and her daughters Clara and Kate, ages 9 and 6. Laura will be dearly missed by her parents Len and Giedre Skilnick, grandmother Dana Lazauskas, her sister Linda Mohri (Bill, Emily and William), brother Leonard Skilnick (Lisa), and her aunt Dana Lazauskas. Laura touched so many with her joy for life, generosity, and love for her family and friends. Her shining light will be felt always, and she will never be forgotten. A private service has taken place and a memorial service will be planned for September.
