Laura Denise Lee - SAVANNAH - Laura Denise Lee, 45, of Savannah and Claxton Georgia, died Wednesday evening, August 26, 2009, at Candler Hospital. Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of Henrietta Pope Lee and the late Daniel Curtis Lee. Laura was a member of Ellabell United Methodist Church and a former member of Wesley Oaks United Methodist Church in Savannah. Survivors include her mother, Henrietta Pope Lee of Claxton, Georgia; two sisters, Leslie L. Collins and her husband, Eric, of Ellabell, Georgia, and Lisa Lee-Myers of Ellabell, Georgia, and two nephews, Daniel K. Polk and Cody L. Myers. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue. The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Monday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend P. Rodney Body. Entombment will be in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park - East. Remembrances: Ellabell United Methodist Church Sunday School Fund - 3113 Highway 204, Ellabell, Georgia 31308.
