MERIDEN - Laura Brown, 85, wife of 41 years of Edward Brown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at MidState Medical Center. She was born May 29, 1922, in Central Falls, RI, a daughter of the late Frank and Irene (Blanchette) Rivet. Mrs. Brown was an auditor for Stanadyne until her retirement. She loved sewing, camping and traveling. She was a great wife, mother and grandmother who will be very deeply missed. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Connie Borger of Windsor and Claudette Dolan of Smithfield, RI; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her everyday companions, Noel and Mereda; as well as many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 13, at 1 p.m. at the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden.
