She was 85. Born on Long Island to the late Pierre & Doris (Drake) DeBaun. Laura graduated from F.E. Bellows High School and Berkeley College, married her loving husband James in 1949, then enjoyed a 17 year career as the Central Treasurer for the Mamaroneck School System. Beloved wife of the late James T. Murphy Jr., cherished mother of Deborah Bruno (Michael), Sean Murphy (Rosary), Christopher Murphy (Diane), Susan Kegan (Kevin) and Kathleen Anechiarico (Michael), devoted grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of 4 (soon to be 5). She was predeceased by her loving husband James and dear son J. Terrance Murphy. To honor Laura's life, family and friends will gather today from 4-8pm at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E.
