LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mr. Larry Smith of Lincolnton, GA passed suddenly on Monday, July 18, 2011 at Wills Memorial Hospital. His funeral services will be Saturday July 23, 2011 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis J. Quinn officiating. The burial will be in the church cemetery. His survivors are a devoted wife, Marilyn M. Smith of the home; a daughter, Cathy M. Smith of Lincolnton, GA; a son, Calvin Smith of Lincolnton, GA; his mother, Rosa Lee Smith of Lincolnton, GA; his father, Walter E. Johnson of Augusta, GA; five sisters, Carolyn Tompkins of Plum Branch, SC, Gloria D. Jones of Harlem, GA, Allene Parks of Lincolnton, GA, Diana Dobson of Lake Park, FL, and Pamela Regland of Urbana, OH; four brothers, Michael Parks of Plum Branch, SC, Roger Parks of Lincolnton, GA, Jimmy Parks of Augusta, GA, and George Parks of Chicago, IL; seven grandchildren, DeRon Lee, Jalen Smith, Aaron Smith, Kellen Smith, Jaige Smith, Dorian Favors and Amberly Barksdale.
