Smith. Mr. Smith was a graduate of A.C. Reynolds High School, and took several classes at AB Tech. He had worked at the Grove Park Inn as a pastry chef, and was an avid home decorator. In addition to his mother, Joyce, he is survived by his sisters, Brenda Green and husband Denny, and Janet Trout and husband Tom; brother, William R. "Richard" Smith and wife Marsha; and nieces and nephews, Jonathan and Joseph Cupp, Amanda Trout, Sarah Leigh Smith, William Martin Smith, Wesley Marcus Smith, and William K. Smith.A funeral service for Mr. Smith will be at 2 p.m. on Friday at the Groce Funeral Home chapel on Patton Avenue with the Rev. Steve Ellis officiating.
