LARRY SMITH It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce Larry's passing, in Montreal, on Saturday, December 24, 2011, at the age of eighty-five. Beloved husband of Joan Usheroff Smith and the late Rose Smith. Son of the late Tobe and the late Shiah Kupferschmid. Loving father and father- in-law of Arthur Smith and Margo Kaplansky, Sharron and Lorne Rabinovitch, Steven Smith and Selina Eisenberg. Survived by his cherished grandchildren, Carli (Jonathan Price), Jesse and Ross Rabinovitch, Alexis and Tori Smith, and Ryan, Chelsea and Lindsey Smith; and by his siblings, Harold Smith (Marilyn Shapiro) and Ettie Grosz (George). Predeceased by his sister Anne Liebman (the late Moe). He will be sadly missed by Joan's children, Wendy and Michael Caplan, Marla and Mark Small, Ronnie and Israla Usheroff; Leesa Parker, and adoring grandchildren, Jay, Jonah and Adam Caplan, Amy Small, Jeremy Usheroff, and Jeri, Kelly and Daniel Parker. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, December 26 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Beth Ora Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O.
