SMITH, LARRY RAY "HAMMER," 62, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011. He was director of operations for the Kentucky Lottery, a Vietnam veteran and a member of Valley View Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Ray and Mildred "Bea" Smith. He is survived by his wife, Sally Smith; children, Kasey, Nick and Kory Smith and Patrick and Jessica Thompson; grandchildren, Kailey and Lynoxx Ray Smith; brother, Steve Smith (Tina); sisters, Mae Donna McFelia, Jana Greene and Lisa Just (Paul); other loving family and friends; and his Kentucky Lottery family. His service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. and Monday, after 9 a.m. until at the funeral home.
