Larry LeRoy Johnson, 68, of Bardstown, died Friday, Sept. 12, 2014, at Flaget Memorial Hospital.He was preceded in death by his parents, John Batts and Lucy Marie Grey Johnson. Survivors include three sons, Steven Neal, of Bardstown, John Burgin, of Shelbyville, Eddie Johnson, of Charlestown, Ind.; and five daughters, Angela Johnson and Lynn Longino, both of Bardstown, Lisa Burgin and Jackie Murphy both of Shelbyville, and Paula Spurgeon, of Mount Washington.The family respected his wishes for cremation and there will not be any public visitation or funeral. Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
