Larry Franklin Lee, 62, entered the gates of Heaven on August 2nd, 2013 after suffering from a long term illness. He passed over in his home in Sylvania, GA where he was peacefully surrounded by his loving family and Ogeechee Area Hospice.Larry made a living for his family with the Georgia Department of Agriculture and after retirement in 1994, he took up his two favorite hobbies, farming and also became known as one of Sylvania's best mechanics.Survivors include one child, his daughter, Tara Lee Marsh (Matt Marsh) of Sylvania, one grandchild, his grandson that was named after him, Gentry Franklin Lee Saxon. Survivors also include his mother, Dorothy B. Odom (Edwin "Bud" Odom); his brother, Robert "Bobby" Lee (Darlene Mock); his sister, Debbie Robbins (George Robbins) and one nephew, Gerren Robbins of Macon, GA. His father, Carrol D. Lee, precedes him in death.Visitation will be August 4th, 2013 from 4-6 p.m. with the funeral to immediately follow at 6 p.m. in the Chapel of Joiner Anderson Screven Funeral Home.
