Funeral for Larry Don Smith, 47, of Trinity will be today, Feb. 11, 2007, at 11:30 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robert Stofel officiating. Burial will be in Bell Springs Cemetery. Mr. Smith, who died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007, at his residence, was born July 30, 1959, in Morgan County to Herbert and Shirley Smith. He was a 1977 graduate of Falkville High School. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a big Alabama fan He was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Smith; and grandparents, O’Neal and Virgie Downs and Tip and Myrtle Smith. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Smith; one daughter, Amy Earls and husband, Noah, of Decatur; his parents, Herbert and Shirley Smith of Eva; one brother, David Smith of Eva; one sister, Lynn Long and husband, Andy, of Eva; three nephews, Drew Long, Jessie Long and Logan Smith; and one niece, Jenna Smith. Pallbearers will be Carlton Sharp, Mike Looney, Ray Smith, Delwin Milligan, Chris Hutto and Dusty Vest.
