Burial will be in Tabernacle Cemetery with The Peoples Funeral Home Directing.Survivors include three daughters, Beatrice Brown and Evelyn (Mike) DeBerry, both of Tuskegee, AL, Ira (Benny) Collins, Shorter, AL; one son, Jimmy (Annie) Padgett, Tuske-gee, AL; grandchildren, Kevin (F-awanna) Jackson, Tuskegee, AL, Lenton (Valerie) Padgett, Waihia-wa, Hawaii, Christopher (Shalonda) Jackson, Hartford, Connecticut, Tri-sha Fort, Grand Prairie, TX, Kevitra and Shawndae Jackson, Tuskegee, AL, Ari-L and Eric Collins, Shorter, AL; one brother, Frank Johnson, Bir-mingham, AL; one sister, Minnie Coleman, Birmingham, AL; a de-voted niece, Brenna LaPread, Tus-kegee, AL; six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by two sons, Clarence Padgett and Marvin W. Fort. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 12, 2003 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Family Hour from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at The Peoples Funeral Home Chapel.
