ELLIOTT, LORA "RUTH" - age 87, of Clinton, passed away December 26, 2014, at her home. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Ruth enjoyed shopping for antiques and going to garage sales. Preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Elliott; parents, Calvin R. and Etta Hill Eldridge. Survivors: son, Wayne and wife Janet Elliott; daughter, Lana and husband Jimmy Brubaker; sister, Ted Worthington; grandson, Mark and wife Pam Elliott; granddaughters, Kristy Coley, Rachel and husband Scot Winningham; great grandchildren, Kathryn Winnington, Kelsey Elliott, Spencer Elliott, Logan Elliott, and Mitchel Elliott; great-great grandson, Elijah Elliott. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 28th, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Daryl Taylor officiating.
