Lonnie-Mae Graham, born in 1914, spouse of Rudy Sr, daughter of John and Robbie, mother of Ga, Jack Graham, Joan Swarbrick Daytona, Jan and Rudy, died on December 31, 2010 at 96 years old. Please consult the obituary here:
Lonnie Mae Graham, 96, of Daytona Beach, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, December 31, 2010. She was born February 23, 1914 in Winfield, Florida, a Godly mother and grandmother of deep abiding faith. Lonnie Mae attended Mainland High School and played basketball for the Lady Bucks and during World War II she was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. A businesswoman, she formerly owned Grahams Furniture and Appliance Store and Grahams Florist in Daytona Beach. Lonnie Mae was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach since 1924, there she was a member of the choir, WMU and G.A. Director. She was a charter member of the Volusia Garden Club, Business Professional Womens Club and member of Eastern Star. Predeceased by her husband Rudy Sr., son Rudy Jr., daughter Jan Zimmet, parents, John Vinson and Robbie Roberts, and brother, Johnny. Survived by a daughter, Joan Swarbrick (Gene) Daytona Beach; a son, Dr. Jack Graham (Linda) Marietta, GA; brother, Jene Roberts (Fran) Satsuma; her son-in-law, Ron Zimmet; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grand-children; five great-great- grandchildren which represented 5 generations. The funeral service was held Sunday, at First Baptist Church Daytona Beach with interment following at Daytona Memorial Park, with Dr. John Wheeler officiating. Family request in lieu of flowers donating to First Baptist Church Missions or Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia.
