MACDONALD, Lois BakerAfter 93 wonderful years, our beautiful and gracious mother, Lois Baker Macdonald, died gently at home in Toronto, ON, on Saturday, April 12, 2014. She was the cherished wife of the late Major General Bruce F. Macdonald, DSO, CD, Croix de Guerre and the only child of the late Dr. and Mrs. J.O. Baker of Edmonton, Alberta, where she was born on November 4, 1920. She is survived by her children John Macdonald (Susan Greer), Ken Macdonald (Wendy), Terri Alloway (Miller) and James Macdonald (April Taggart), by her grandchildren Lindsay Macdonald, Rob Macdonald (Forough Ghorbani), Fraser Macdonald, Matthew Macdonald, Christie Beatty (Brian), Kate Gilmour (Lincoln), Lois Macdonald, Ella Macdonald and by her eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL LIMITED, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue), from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15. The Funeral Service will be at LITTLE TRINITY ANGLICAN CHURCH, 425 King Street E., Toronto, on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. A private family burial will follow.
