Obituary of Linda-Joyce Carter

CHILDERSBURG – Funeral service for Linda Joyce Carter, 69, of Childersburg, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 29 at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel with the Rev. Paul Hickman officiating. Burial is at Greenhill Cemetery.Ms. Carter died Thursday, April 26, 2012 at her residence.She was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Ruddy. She attended Calvary Baptist Church and was a very loving mother and grandmother.She is survived by her son, Shane Carter, of Harpersville, daughter, Kathy Murphy and husband Keith, of Childersburg, special daughter, Mandi Phillips and husband Josh, of Childersburg, three grandchildren, Alibug, Kelli and Josh, two great-grandchildren, Madisyn and Walker, brother, Harry Ruddy and sisters, Banona Woodard, Sylvia Robinson and Nancy Andrews.Pallbearers are her family and friends.Online condolences may be offered at www.curtisandsonfunerals.com.Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg Chapel will direct the service.
