LUCAS, Lillian 88, of St. Petersburg, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2007, at Hospice Woodside. Born in Yonkers, NY, she came here in 1978 with her late husband, Richard. She worked for the New York Railroad in New York City, and was retired from the advertising department of Burroughs Wellcome & Co., now Glaxo-Smith Kline, in Tuckahoe, NY. She delivered Meals-On-Wheels as a member of Grace Lutheran Church Women's Guild, and was a life member of the DAV auxillary, and volunteered at Bay Pines VA center, all in St. Petersburg. Lillian was known for her desire to help others, her humor, and sharp wit. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Lucas) Milham; son-in-law, Glenn; and granddaughter, Merinda Milham, all of South Windsor, CT. The family thanks Gail Culver and Bob Crackett of Grace Lutheran Church; caregiver and friend, Migdalia Hernandez; and the staff at Hospice. Burial is private.
