ROTH, LILLIAN JULIA, 86, a resident since 1965, passed away at Florida Hospital Fish Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, January 27th, 2004. Mrs. Roth was born in Loose Creek, MO and moved to Deltona, FL from St. Louis in 1965. Mrs. Roth was a homemaker. She and her late husband LeRoy opened the very first gas station, LeRoy's Gulf Station, in 1965. Lillian also co-owned and operated LeRoy's Nursery and Siegler's Country Store in Osteen. She and LeRoy were part of the original congregation that founded Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Deltona. She was a Eucharistic Minister to the sick and was in the Council of Catholic Women. She was a past member of the Deltona Garden Club, the Deltona Women's Club, the Civic Association, Library Association and the Nocturnal Adoration Society. She enjoyed being with her family, gardening and many church activities. She was preceded in death by her husband LeRoy of 36 years, son Jimmy, and step-daughter Lori Carpenter Roberts. Survivors include two sons and their wives, David and Lynn and Dan and Cheryl, all of Orange City, brother Harry Lock of Loose Creek, MO, two granddaughters, Jennifer and Danielle and two grandsons, Shawn and Clint, a step- grandson Chuck Carpenter and five step grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Community, Deltona, at 11:30AM on Friday, January 30th. Friends are invited to call on Thursday 6-8PM at the Baldauff Family Funeral Home.
