LEE, LILA MAE Lee, Lila Mae Carroll age 99 of Birmingham passed away Saturday June 11, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years Horace H. Lee. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Jean Mark of Birmingham and son Richard M. Lee, Sr. of Dallas, TX. Grandchildren, Ralph A. Mark, III of Birmingham, Sherri Lee of St. Petersburg, FL, Allison Jay of Birmingham, Richard M. Lee, Jr. of Raleigh, NC. Mary Brooks Johnson of Tampa, FL. and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lee was a long - time member of Huffman United Methodist Church, the Minnie Lankford Sunday School Class and later the Win One Sunday School Class. Funeral service will be Tuesday June 14, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at Ridout's Trussville Chapel with Dr. Harris Hand officiating, a private interment for family only will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time.
