L. Marjorie Moore, 91, Battle Creek, Mich., and formerly of Sarasota and Bradenton, died Feb. 27, 2002. She was born Nov. 9, 1910, in Manitou Beach, Mich., and was an elementary school teacher for 23 years at Stuckey School in Michigan. She graduated in 1932 from Michigan State Normal College, Ypsilanti, and was a member of Theta Sigma Upsilon Sorority and Michigan Education Association. She was past president of the Redford Township Symphony Society and a member of Eastern Star of Redford Township and the Methodist Church in Sarasota. Survivors include daughters Maureen M. DeVoll of Burlington, Mich., and Marleen G. McConkey of Sarasota; a son, Ronald L. of Parchment, Mich.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be in Redford Township, Mich., where Fisher Funeral home is in charge.
