Obituary of Konig-Billie-Jeanne-Hunt McDonald


KONIG Billie Jeanne Konig (nee Jeanne Hunt McDonald), 72, passed away in Loveland, CO, December 17, 2014. A native of Jacksonville, FL, she attended Fletcher High School in Jacksonville Beach. Prior to her retirement, Jeanne worked in the health care industry and especially enjoyed her work with those with special needs. She loved spending time with her family and being outdoors in her beloved Colorado, camping and fishing. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Bates Hunt McDonald; father, William Hunt; and daughter Donna Lozier. In addition to her loving husband, Jack Konig of Loveland, Jeanne is survived by daughters Beth Smith of Jacksonville, Ginny Lozier of Denver, and Debra Warner of Loveland; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Barry McDonald of Neptune Beach, FL, and Mary McDonald of Atlantic Beach, FL. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 3, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home in Loveland. Friends and family are invited to an informal gathering from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, 2015, at 2028 Shadow Lane, Neptune Beach, FL. A private ceremony for family will be held at Evergreen Cemetery at a later date. Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com
