Khristy one of 'God's Special Children' was called home on June 4 2006. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday June 7 2006 at Union Grove Baptist Church in Beech Bluff TN with Bro. Eric Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Khristy was born on April 20 1974 in Jackson TN. She made many special friends when she attended the Cerebral Palsy Center. Khristy had a very special relationship with Cousin Tuny and Tootsie Rose thru their telethon appearances special visits and letters. Khristy always greeted everyone with a beautiful smile and bright blue eyes. She was preceded in death by her mother Vada Gobelet Smith and sisters Melba Smith Norma Jean Smith and Alma Louise Smith. Khristy is survived by her father Hobert Smith of Jackson TN; sisters Ann Watson and husband Richard and Barbara Smith; brothers Luke Smith and wife Debra David Smith and wife Tracy and Mark Smith and wife Debbie; nephews Richard Watson Jr. Brian Hammond Rustin Smith Harry Ward Brock Smith Dustin Smith and Cory Ivy; nieces Christa Smith and Cassie Ivy; great nephew Aden Hammond; great niece Kalyn Ward; special friends Bridget Bodiford Tina Morris Tasha Dodds Amber Gurley Teresa Blazer and Trenna Porter. Pallbearers to serve are Brendon Blazer Danny Wallace Rustin Smith Richard Watson Jr. Brian Hammond Harry Ward and Brock Smith; honorary pallbearers are Steve Lansaw Lee Watson Bobby Gobelet Keith Hammond Robert Ward Adam Gobelet and Cory Ivy.
