He was born in Champaign, IL. Mr. Williams was an employee of Belk Simpson for over 27 years. He was a very active member of Berea First Baptist Church for 20 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Tim Williams and wife Dawn, daughter Tammy Waldrep and husband Gerald; grandchildren, Brandon Waldrep, Brittany (Matt) Hannon, Kayla (Josh) Westbrooks, Zack Williams; and one sister, Martha DeWendt. Visitation will be held Monday, May 13, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with the funeral at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, West. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Vista Care Hospice, 15 Brendan Way, Suite 100, Greenville, SC 29615 or Berea First Baptist Church Youth Ministries, 529 Farrs Bridge Road, Greenville, SC 29611. The family will be at the son's residence.
