Kenneth W. Roberts February 10, 2011 Kenneth W. Roberts, 68, of Fulton, died Thursday at home. A native of Hopewell, VA, he had resided in the Fulton area most of his life. Ken retired as a cook at Mimi's Drive-In Restaurant in Fulton after 22 years and had previously worked as a cook at SUNY Oswego. He loved art and was a talented sketch artist. He also enjoyed reading and gardening. Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Sallie (Mahaney) Roberts of Fulton; six children, Kennedy (Katherine) Roberts of Pennellville, Greg (Andrea) Roberts of Pflugerville, TX, Debbie (Paul) Slaver of Fulton, Michael (Zenetta) Kimpland of Brewerton, Teresa (Jim) Kleffel of Kutztown, PA, and Steven (Tammy) Kimpland of Hannibal; two sisters, Virginia (Paul) Crane of Oswego and Carol (Walter) Harris of Newport News, VA; 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. Ken thoughtfully gifted his body for medical research at SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse.
