->Horton, Kenneth W.Fort Pierce, FL.: Age 88, died peacefully on August 7, 2011 at the St. Lucie County Hospice House in Fort Pierce, Fl. Born on Staten Island, NY raised his family in Rochester, NY and retired to Fort Pierce Fl.A graduate of Bucknell University and member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. He was commissioned a Naval Officer, serving aboard the USS Tucson CL98 during WWII. He retired from the Hartford Insurance Group as a Special Agent. While in Rochester, Ken was a member/Elder of the Laureleton United Presbyterian Church and member of the Sodus Bay Yacht Club. In Fort Pierce, Ken was a member of the Lakewood Park United Methodist Church and sang in the choir. Ken is survived by is wife of 63 years, Marjorie and his three children, Leslie Kociuba, Janet Barrett, David Horton, their spouses, four grandchildren, one great-grandson and sister Ruth Watkins.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lakewood Park United Methodist Church or Treasure Cost Hospice. There will be no prior calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 11 at 11:00 at Lakewood Park United Methodist Church, 5405 Turnpike Feeder Road, Fort Pierce, 34951.Arrangements are under the direction of Thomas S.
