Obituary of Kenneth-Lloyd James


JAMES, Kenneth Lloyd C. St. J. - entered into the presence of Jesus surrounded by his family at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on Monday, June 2, 2003 in his 75th year, beloved husband of Lois for 54 years, devoted father of Margaret and her husband Bill Winger, and Wilfred and his wife Louise, cherished grandfather of five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Ken is survived by his brother in law Clifford House and his wife Carol and his numerous nieces and nephews, and predeceased by his brothers Douglas and Donald. He has been an active member of First Baptist Church in Fort Erie and a member of the Board of Managers for forty years. Ken achieved the rank of Commander during his many years with the Order of St. John of Jerusalem. He retired from Horton CBI Ltd. after forty years with the company. He also spent many years with Fort Erie Minor Hockey and was the convener and treasurer for ten years. Friends will be received at the Fort Erie Chapel of the Davidson Funeral Homes, 21 Wintemute Street on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be conducted from First Baptist Church, Central Avenue & Bertie Street on Thursday at 10:30 o'clock with Pastor Wesley Tremain B. Th. and Reverend Gordon Gooderham conducting. Interment Pleasantview memorial Gardens, Fonthill.
