Vernon Missionary Baptist Church and was retired from Hazelwood Center.Survivors include his mother, Minnie Belle Carter; siblings, Don Carter, Sr. (Antoinette), Charles Carter, Sr. (Ursula), Princess Simpson (Harold); companion, Marilyn Render; and a host of extended family and friends.Visitation will be 6-9 pm Friday at his church, 3640 Cane Run Rd.
