Obituary of Kenneth-Lee Carter


CARTER, KENNETH LEE "ROCK," 62, died Monday, June 2, 2008, at Clark Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Versailles, KY, an employee of Caesars Indiana, a United States Army veteran and a member of Green Street Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Joan Carter; two sons, Tonye and Andre Rutherford; four daughters, Princea Rakes, Dorothy Carter, Tonya Rutherford and Kenicia Carter; brothers and sisters, Gary Carter, (Violet), Frank K. and Anthony Carter, Jeffery Wheat, Joanna Franklin, Larry F. Greene, Oliver Smith, William Granville and Toni Green; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Green Street Baptist Church, 519 E. Gray Street, with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, in Radcliff, KY. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Perryman's Mortuary, 34th & Broadway, is in charge of the arrangements.
