KING Kenneth Ernest, born April 20, 1925 in Halifax and passed away September 11, 2004. Ken is lovingly remembered by Beverley, his wife of 56 years, daughters Charmaine (Barry) Duller and Deborah (Murray) Owen, granddaughters Lyndsay, Baileyand Caroline and sisters Beryl Watson and Joan (Monty) Jasper. He was a kind, gentle and caring husband, father and friend. Enlisting in the Air Force , Ken (with Bev) spent many of his early married years stationed in France and Ottawa. He is probably best known for his work in the hotel business, especially his many years managing Harbour Towers. Ken spent his life participating in and supporting sports and promoting Victoria to everyone he met. He truly loved all of the peoplehe worked with through the years, as well as, those at UCT, Rotary and many other organizations. A celebration of his life will be held at Cordova Bay United Church, 813 Claremont Ave, at 2:00 Friday, September 17. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
