KING, Kenneth John October 26, 1939 - February 2, 2012After a seven year battle with cancer, it is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Ken King. Born in Kidderminster, England, Ken immigrated with his wife and two sons to Winnipeg in 1967. The family moved to Calgary in 1975, where Ken was to spend the rest of his life. Ken's career as a telephone cable splicer began in the UK and continued with MTS (Manitoba) and AGT/Telus. Ken spent his retirement enjoying everything that life could give. Predeceased by his father, Arthur, and first wife, Phyllis, he will be missed by wife Zsuzsanna, sons Dean and Martin, mother Olive and brother Michael. Also left to mourn are many nieces, nephews and friends in Winnipeg and Calgary. Service will take place on Saturday, February 11, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at McInnis & Holloway's Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, Calgary.
