Kenneth William Johnson Hegewisch, IL/ Sun City, AZ Kenneth William Johnson, age 81, of Sun City, Arizona passed away on December 18, 2004. Born in Chicago, IL, June 17 1923 to Elvera Hendrickson Johnson and Carl A. Johnson. He served with the 935th Army Corp. of Engineers from 1943-1946. Kenneth and Junellen Carlson married at Lebanon Lutheran Church in Hegewisch, IL. Where they remained until 1989 when they relocated to Port Charlotte, FL for 14 years. Then moving to Sun City, AZ, in 2003. Ken was a life-long member of Fred Schweitzer Post #272 of the American Legion, Masonic Lodge of Crete #763 and Ironworkers Local #395. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Junellen and three children; Beth Walker of Valparaiso, IN, Gail (Roger) Demuth of Portland, OR, Carl (Tina) Johnson of Batavia, IL, and two grandchildren, Sydney and Claire Johnson. Ken lives on through the copper creations that family and friends cherish forever. Memorials are to be sent to Sun Health Hospice, 12740 N. Plaza Del Rio Blvd., Peoria, IL, 85351. Memorial Service will be held January 29, 2005 at the Lebanon Lutheran Church in Chicago, IL.
