LOUDON -- Kenneth J. Alton, 64, died March 11, 2011, at home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Manchester Aug. 22 1946, to Joseph and Lillian (Campbell) Alton. He worked for many years as a maintenance supervisor and was employed by North East Sheet Metal of Goffstown. He spent much of his life in Dunbarton and was a volunteer with the Dunbarton Fire Department. His passion in life was collecting and working with farm tractors. Family members include his loving wife of 37 years, Mary; four children, Heidi Alton of Phoenix, Ariz., Heather Alton of Bow, Eric Alton of Hooksett, and Steven Alton of Port Charlotte, Fla. IN HIS LIFE: Family members also include seven grandchildren, Gregory, Rhiannon, Hannah, Arel, Corey, Riley and Mackenzie. He will be also missed by his two beloved dogs, Jeep and Biscuit. SERVICES: Calling hours are Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. in French and Rising Funeral Home, 17 S. Mast St., Goffstown. The funeral will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
