Obituary of Kenneth-G. Williams


Kenneth Garrison Williams, 70, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, July 6, 2002. Born in Greenville, he was theson of the late Gilbert Garrison and Corrine Moore Williams. A U.S. Air Force veteran, he was employed with Mac Synder Auto Sales and was a member of Edwards Road Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was a former member and officer of the Jaycees and the Auto Dealers Asssociation. He was a man who loved his Lord, his family, his church and his friends. He lived his life teaching his family how to be "strong in the Lord". Surviving are his wife, Sarah Helon Looper Williams of the home; a daughter, Kim Rochelle Williams of Taylors; a son, Kenneth Gregory "Greg" Williams of Easley; a sister, Sara Warren of Greenville and a granddaughter, Lindley Joan Williams. Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at The Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive with Dr. Stephen Corts officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday from Noon to 2 p.m. at the mortuary. Honorary escort will be his Prayer Group. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wisdom in Living Life Ministry, P.O. Box 25296, Greenville, SC 29616. The family is at the home of his sister, Sara Warren, 8 Cameron Lane, Greenville.
