Kenneth G. Bryant KINGSTON -Kenneth G. Bryant, Jr., 50, of Gage Street died Oct. 5, 2012 at Kingston Hospital. He was born in Brooklyn, a son of Jacqueline Dawson Bryant and the late Kenneth G. Bryant, Sr. A Kingston High School graduate, class of 1980, Ken received an Associate's Degree in Computer Science from Columbia - Greene College. For 25 years Ken was a volunteer coach for the Kingston Youth Biddy Basketball Program; a chair of the Ulster County Youth Bureau and a commissioner of the City of Kingston Commission on Human Rights. Since 2004 he has been a member of the Kingston Parks and Recreation Commission and served two terms as chair. Ken was employed for 15 years at United Health Care. Beloved husband of Patricia "Trish" Brown Bryant; loving father of Tyler James Bryant at home; son of Mrs. Jacqueline Bryant of Kingston and the late Kenneth Bryant Sr.; brother of Kevin Bryant and his wife Elena of Kingston. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive. Family and friends may call at Pointe of Praise on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. A funeral service will then be officiated by Pastor James B. Childs at 4:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the "Kingston Parks & Recreation" (in memory of Ken), 467 Broadway, Kingston, N.Y. 12401.
