Mr. Kenneth D. Bryant, 56, departed this life on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, in Savannah. He was born in Chatham County to the late Pearlie Mae Davis and Kenneth Bryant Sr. Mr. Bryant retired from CSX Railroad and he enjoyed coaching football for the Liberty County Recreation Department. He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Louise Bryant. His first wife, Deborah Bright Brown, also, preceded him in death. From their union, a daughter was born. Later he married Pauline "Debra" Bryant. He leaves to cherish his memory a daughter, Erica (Ben) Barber; two sons, Omar McClendon and Robbie Williams; three granddaughters and two grandsons; two sisters, Nazerine (Jerry) McClendon and Janice Davis; one brother, Leroy (Trish) Garvin; one sister-in-law, Lucille Ross, one brother-in-law, Paul Anthony (Pat) Collier, a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 7-8 p.m. Friday at Dorchester Funeral Home in Midway. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Community Missionary Baptist Church on East Oglethorpe Highway in Midway. Pastor James Frazier will officiate. Interment will be in Mallard Cemetery on Isle of Wight Road in Midway. Dorchester Funeral Home of Midway has charge of the arrangements.
