Obituary of Kenneth-Alan King

KENNETH ALAN KING Kenneth Alan King, on June 11th, passed away in his 75th year at the VA Hospital in West Palm Beach. He was born in Fall River, MA on October 13, 1932 to Ruth and Joseph King. He is survived by Patricia Kelleher; son Michael; son Bill, his wife Nancy and their son Dan; daughter Lisa; daughter Lori, her husband Scott, and their daughters Haley and Devon; sister Joanne Brown; and cousin Shirley Russell. He will be sadly missed by all and remembered for his extremely generous nature, his lack of patience, and his unique sense of humor. Ken was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War and avid supporter of the Jimmy Fund, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and many Veterans' organizations. A graduate of Boston University, Ken, went on to have a very successful career in the semiconductor industry, holding many positions and owning his own business. He retired to Port St. Lucie, where he could pursue his love of golf. In one final act of generosity, Ken donated his body to the University of Miami Medical School. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you please consider sending a contribution to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney St., Boston, MA 02115 or the Paralyzed Veterans of America, Donation Processing Center, 7 Mill Brook Rd., Wilton, NH 03086. They would also like to express their gratitude to all the friends, family, and medical personnel who have been such an important source of support.
