Kelli Tate Morris, 37, wife of Richard Leigh Morris, died April 21, 2006, in Greenville.Kelli was a Greenville native but recently resided in both Greenville and Rock Hill. She was a daughter of Roy Douglas Tate and Patsy Landrum Tate of Greenville. Kelli was a 1987 graduate of Greenville High School and a 1991 graduate of Winthrop University. Following her graduation from Winthrop, she was employed by the university in several capacities for 14 years. As Director of Annual Giving, she was instrumental in founding the South Carolina Annual Giving Officers Association. In 2005, she became Director of Stewardship at Furman University. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Rock Hill.In addition to her husband and parents, Kelli is survived by her sister and husband, Melisa "Lisa" and James Owen of Greenville; and a niece and nephew, Kayci and Andrew Owen. Services will be held Monday, April 24, at 3 p.m. at the Furman University Chapel. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends today from 3 to 5 p.m. at The Mackey Mortuary, 311 Century Drive, in Greenville.
