MACDONALD, Keith B. 1956 - 2014God answered Bruce's prayers by celebrating Christmas with Keith. Keith passed away peacefully at the Diane-Morrison Hospice on December 25th, 2014 with his brother Bruce by his side. Predeceased by his parents Carson and Beatrice MacDonald. Keith was loved by his cherished nephew Stephen (Heather) and his special niece Sarah as well as their mother Gillian MacDonald and brother in law Mark Paine. Keith suffered from schizophrenia in his adult life under the care of the Edgewood Care Centre and spent his final days at the Diane-Morrison Hospice in Ottawa. His quality of life was at its best during the past six months, spent with his loved ones playing guitar and once again actually laughing. Special thanks to Trudy Kelly for her dedication and her friendship to Keith and Bruce over the past 15 years. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tubman Funeral Homes- Westboro Chapel. A burial of ashes will be held in the spring at Capital Memorial Gardens Cemetery for close family and friends. Donation in Keith's memory to the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario or the Diane-Morrison Hospice would be appreciated.
