ObituaryKay Kent, young at heart, passed away on April 29, 2001 in Fort Myers, after courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born in Patterson, NJ and was a long time resident of Arlington Heights, IL before retiring to Fort Myers in 1989. Kay is survived by her loving husband, Robert H. (Bob) Kent, Sr. and their three children, Kim (Andrew) Scifres, Robert H. Kent, Jr., Kelly (Craig) Horna and of course her beloved dog Panda-Bear. Also survived by her four grandchildren, Brandon Floyd, Jamie Kent, Sara Scifres, and Kyle Horna; and in-laws, Marilyn and James Knight and Dana and Mary Kent. Kay's spirit, heart and love for life will be missed by many. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, May 1, at Kiser Funeral Home, 9231 Cypress Lake Dr., from 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 2, 2:00 p.m. at Cypress Lake United Methodist Church 8570 Cypress Lake Drive.
