Katie Rose Peterson April 30, 1992 February 27, 2009 Katie Rose Peterson was born on April 30, 1992 at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, SK. She passed away on February 27, 2009. She was the daughter of Scot and Carolyn (Neufeld) Peterson. Katie loved life in the 16 1/2 years she was here on earth but she is even happier next to her Jesus. Katie accepted Christ as her personal Saviour at a young age in her preschool Sunday School class and later through the guidance of her children's pastor, was baptized. Katie's greatest joys in life were family, friends, school, animals of all kinds, yearly trips to Emma Lake, and children of all ages. Katie was predeceased by her namesake, Grandma Kaethi (Katie) Neufeld. She will be missed so very much by her parents, Scot and Carolyn; her younger brother and friend, Brent; Grandpa and Grandma Peterson (Harvey and Margaret), Grandpa and Grandma Neufeld (John and Anne); and her many Aunties, Uncles and cousins. A Memorial Service for Katie will be held on Friday, April 3, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in Elim Tabernacle, 3718 8th Street East, Saskatoon, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in memoriam, to Elim Tabernacle, Children's Ministries, 3718 8th Street East, Saskatoon S7H 4T4.
