KATHRYN JEANSMITH "KAKI", 76Guidance Counselor LAKELAND - Kathryn Jean Smith, 76, of Lakeland died April 30, 2010 from a brain injury. She was born on January 12, 1934 in Coalwood; W.V. Kaki retired from Oscar J. Pope Elementary School as a Guidance Counselor. She was preceded in death by her parents Guy and Flossie Smith; she is survived by her brother James H. Smith Sr.; nieces Pat Meadows, Kay Rogers, Pam Whittaker, and Catie Smith; nephews Jim Smith and Chris Smith, several great nieces and great nephews, aunts and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Monday May 3, 2010 at 3 P.M. at Heath Funeral Chapel. Burial Tuesday, 2:00 pm at Oak Hill Burial Park .
