RHINEBECK, N.Y. - Kathryn "Kay" (Gray) Taylor, 65, died unexpectedly Oct. 2, 2008, at Northern Duchess Hospital, Rhinebeck, N.Y. She was born March 12, 1943, in Brewer, the daughter of Arthur H. and Pauline L. (Scott) Gray. A 1961 graduate of Bangor High School, Kay married Robert C. Taylor in 1962 and moved to New York. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert; eight children and their spouses, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of New York. Surviving locally are her sister, Judith and her husband, Thomas Richard, of Bangor; brother, Steven and his wife, Sandra Gray, of Clifton; several nieces and a nephew. She was predeceased by her parents; a son in 1990; and by her brother, Eugene "Bud" Gray in 2002. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, at Trinity Episcopal Church, Fishkill, N.Y., under the direction of Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Home.
