Feb 28, 1923 - Aug.29, 2012 Our family has lost an amazing woman. She had a heart of gold, and a love for life, family and friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Vernon and two sons, Leonard and Glenn. She will be missed by her surviving son, Raymond, daughter-in-law, Margo; grandson Sean, his wife, Elina, and 5 mo. old great-grandson, Rye; and grandsons, Brent and Glen, as well as other family and friends. We love you and will miss you, but know that you are now at peace. We will never forget her foundational role in the family we are today. Don't grieve for me; I'm following the path God laid for me. I could not stay to laugh, love and play. I found the peace at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy. Be not burdened with times of sorrow. I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savoured much, Great family, friends; good times, a loved one's touch. God saw me getting tired and a cure was not to be. He put His arms around me and set me free. She had requested that no service be held. A private family celebration will be held at a later date.
