Kathleen Smith, 75, Sarasota, died April 11, 2005. She was born Sept. 24, 1929, in Telington, England, and came to Sarasota in 1987 from Seattle. She was a homemaker and a Presbyterian. Survivors include daughters Ann Reis-Elbara of Sarasota, Sue Smith of Seattle, Carol Akhavuz of Marysville, Wash., and Lynn Ryan of London; a son, Robert of Apollo Beach; a sister, Gloria Lemme of Sarasota; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
