KATHLEEN SIMPSON MERRILLVILLE, IN Kathleen Simpson, age 55 of Merrillville, formerly of Lakes of the Four Seasons, passed away October 26, 2013. She was a graduate of Highland High School Class of 1976 and attended Indiana State University. Kathleen was an avid golfer and served as president and vice-president of the Women’s Golf Association at The Lakes of the Four Seasons for three years. She was a crew captain for the Methodist Southlake Hospital Foundation where she served on the Rewards and Recognition Committee for four years. Kathleen was preceded in death by her father, Donald Kepperling; and nephew, Donald Kepperling. She is survived by her mother, Maryann Kepperling; brother, Thomas (Sally) Kepperling; sister, Karen O’Brien; nephew, David (Amber) Kepperling; fiance, George Forbes; numerous aunts and uncles and extended family.
