Statesboro - Kathleen Rushing Murphy, 90, died Monday, February 17, 2003 in the Statesboro Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Bulloch County, was a loving mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law. She was a homemaker and an apartment owner and manager. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert "Bish" Murphy. Survivors: four daughters and sons-in-law, Jan and Chuck DeWitt of Keystone Heights, FL, Lynn and Sam Neville of Register, Pat and Tom Browne, Jr. of Louisville, GA, and Kathy and Dennis Moore, Jr. of Statesboro; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
