Kathleen Spangenberg (nee Murphy), 84, died Wednesday, July 18, 2012, in the Ocean Grove Medical Center, Brick, N.J. Visitation is at the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Road, North Arlington, N.J., on Saturday, July 21, from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m., thence to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington, for the Funeral Mass at 9:45 a.m. Interment is in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Born in Ireland, Mrs. Spangenberg lived in North Arlington, N.J., and Kearny, N.J., before moving to Brick, N.J., seven years ago. She worked as a clerk for Nationwide Shipping in Lyndhurst, N.J., before retiring. She was a member of the Rosary Society of Queen of Peace Church, the Senior Citizens Harmony Club, and the Women's Club, all in North Arlington. She was the beloved wife of the late David J.; devoted mother of Karen M. and Mary E., and dear sister of Philomena Hanley of Ireland.
