Kathleen Mary Horne - March 07, 1959 - August 20, 2004 - aged 45, passed away on August 20, 2004, after a long, courageous battle with stomach cancer. This illness she embraced with grace, spirit, courage, and determination. Born in Weymouth, England, on March 7, 1959, she was a daughter of Michael John and Eileen Martina Symes-Maguire. Besides her parents, Kathleen is survived by her beloved husband, Darrell; daughter, Siobhain and son, Riley. Also left to mourn her sad loss are sister, Martina Murphy; brothers, Seamus and Cory Symes; special cousin, Deirdre, and many other friends and relatives. Kathleen was a kind-hearted woman and will be missed by all. We will forever remember her beautiful smile and heart of gold. Service will be held in St. Peter's Catholic Church on Maple Street in Dartmouth on Tuesday, August 24, at 10 a.m. Kathleen wanted donations made to The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada in lieu of flowers.
