We played dress up together, shared our deepest secrets, argued our differences and celebrated our similarities. W e could make each other laugh with a single word or a simple look. Then Death came calling and she attacked it with amazing courage. Her courage didn't conquer empires. It was the courage to go on despite lost empires, lost dreams, and lost hope.
