Kathleen (Kit) M.L. MacNeill 1924 - 2007 Kathleen (Kit) M.L. MacNeill 83, of Moncton passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Monday January 8, 2007. Born in Charlottetown, PE, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Beatress (Greene) Carter. Kit was a member of St. John's United Church, served as President of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #17, Dalhousie for 6 years, served as President of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6, Moncton for 4 years, in the community she was a member of the New Brunswick Housing Board for a total of seven years 1978-1985, served as Secretary – Dalhousie Pastoral Charge, St. John's United Church, 13 years 1976-1989, served as Secretary to Minister, St. John's United Church, 13 years 1976-1989, member of Board of Stewards, St. John's United Church 10 years, 1979-1989, member of Session, St. John's United Church 4 years, 1985-1989 (all in Dalhousie). She also worked for the Red Cross, V.O.N. and Salvation Army both in Dalhousie and Moncton. Kit will be sadly missed by her daughters, Betty Ann Danks (Bill), Dalhousie, Cathy Belanger (Marc), Moncton; sons, Neil, Moncton, Robert (Brenda), Halifax, NS; grandchildren, Scott and Stephanie and their mother, Agnes MacNeill, Tommy, Shelly, Cindy and Alex; great grandchildren, Emma and Avery. Besides her parents, predeceased by her husband, Robert MacNeill (1984); brother, Ted. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Thursday 2 to 4, 7 to 9.
